AUSTRALIA WIDE POSTAGE
One Thousand Chapters offers Australia wide shipping to our customers. The standard postage cost is $8.95. We offer free shipping on orders over $75. All postal packages are sent out via Australia Post, or via our own company (depending on your location) . Once your order is processed it may take up to 14 days to arrive to you.If you have any concerns please feel free to contact our customer service team to assist you with your query.
At this stage we currently do not offer world wide shipping, however we will be introducing international postage soon. Please feel free to subscribe below to be notified once this option is available to you.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
One Thousand Chapters offer an exchange and return policy under the below terms and conditions.
Prior to shipping our items, all of our products are thoroughly checked by our quality control team to ensure that our items meet customer standards.
In an unlikely event that the order is in a damaged condition One Thousand Chapters will happily return or exchange damaged or faulty, unworn items within 7 days of purchase. We are committed to ensuring full customer satisfaction and therefore will provide an exchange or full refund on your damaged or faulty item -Excluding shipping.
If you are not happy with a product you can choose to return your unworn item to us within 7 days of purchase. Items must be unworn and in original packaging, along with original tags and invoice. We will not be able to provide you with an exchange or refund if you cannot comply with the terms stated.
Due to health and safety regulations we are unable to return or exchange earrings. Please select wisely.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on any sale items. Please make sure you are completely satisfied before proceeding with your purchase.

RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY
Full priced items can be refunded in full, if returned within 7 days of purchase and in original, unworn condition with original packaging and tags, minus all shipping charges.
We do not pay for returns to be shipped back to One Thousand Chapters
Items purchased during flash sale promotions are not eligible for an exchange or refund.
Giveaways and prizes are not eligible for a refund, exchange or repair.
We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repairs, returns, and exchanges.
Earrings can not be returned or exchanged due to health and safety regulations, we cannot take any exceptions.
Tarnishing is not considered a fault, as our jewellery must come into contact with chemicals for tarnishing to occur, see our care guide for more information.
RETURN + EXCHANGE PROCESS
You must request an exchange by email within 7 days of accepting delivery of the product, and arrange return of the product after notification from us.
Proof of purchase, along with pictures of product must be supplied with your email request, in the form of an invoice or order number.
You are responsible for returning the product in its original condition. It must be unworn in the original packaging.
Please wrap the product in bubble wrap to avoid damage and send the product with tracking.
All returned items must be through registered mail so that it is trackable. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the item to us safely. We will not be held responsible for the cost of shipping or liable for loss of shipment from the postal service company. Registered mail will help to minimise the risks of this occurring.
Once you have received a tracking number you must send it through to our team.
One Thousand Chapters will inspect the product on its return, and we reserve the right to refuse exchange should we evaluate the product to not be in the original condition.
FAULTY ITEMS POLICY
We take care to quality check all our items, however occasionally there may be a fault we did not find.
Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Our jewellery is hand made from precious metals that naturally oxidise and change in time and this is not considered a manufacturing fault. Additionally, loss of stones or breaking and chipping due to mishandling is also not considered a manufacturing fault.
We also do not accept any returns for tarnished metal that has occurred due to wear or that has come into contact with chemicals of any kind, this includes perfume, moisturisers, hair products and skin care. Please ensure you clean your jewellery with a polishing cloth after each wear to avoid any tarnishing.
We are also unable to accept returns if in our opinion, you have not taken appropriate care of your purchased item as per our instructions outlined on our care cards, and on our website.
If your item is damaged or faulty you will need to contact us within 7 days of accepting your delivery of your product.
The email must include the following:
A clear photograph of the fault
A clear written description of the fault
A proof of purchase being an email confirmation from One Thousand Chapters, a bank statement or an order number from One Thousand Chapters.
All items must be returned to One Thousand Chapters via postal method which can be tracked, and we will not take responsibility for items that are damaged or lost in transit.
On receiving, the item will be assessed by One Thousand Chapters team.
In the case that we deem your item faulty, will then repair, replace, refund or in circumstances offer an exchange if the item cannot be repaired or replaced. Replacements will only be offered if in stock.
If an exchange is offered, and the price of the new item differs from the original, a refund or credit note of the difference will be offered.
Our team will conduct all refunds via your original method of payment. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been assessed however, please allow up to 14 days from the day of assessment for your account to be credited.
We will offer free returns for any faulty items.
THIRD PARTY PURCHASES
Please be aware that One Thousand Chapters are not able to accept returns on items that were purchased through third party stockist. Please visit the stockist the item was purchased from and follow their returns policy.
